Hawkeye Henry
This 2003 Sorrel AQHA gelding is bred to do it all!  As the only gelding on the ranch for awhile, he had to.  We used him to gather cows, sheep, etc.  He had to go to the shows as a turnback horse.  He had to be a lesson horse at times.  He's even a money earning rope horse!  The photo at right is Joe & me acting as the arena help at the 2006 Coke County Ranch Rodeo.  I had originally  planned to use another horse because that is quite a job for a baby three year old - flags, music, crowd, banners, wild cattle, drunk cowboys, etc.  But as luck would have it, he was my ride that night, and he didn't make a bobble.  I was so proud of him.  He's got cow, speed, athletic ability, a great disposition - gentle for anyone! He's everything you need in an all around using gelding!

Freckles Poco Priss
This 2005 Bay AQHA filly started out life pretty rough.  She was her dam's first foal - and her dam gave very little milk with her.  Fortunately, that was a one time occurance.  However, Priss became a "bucket baby", but she's catching up fast.  At this time, we haven't yet started her under saddle.  She's gentle on the ground - to catch, lead, groom and have her feet trimmed.  She'll load easily and is very people oriented.  She appears to be very athletic and shows signs of having a lot of cow.

My Mama Got Bobbed
The only thing that surprised us more than Poco Classy Rose being bred to Quiznos Bob was the fact that the resulting filly was so outstanding!  This sorrel filly has perfect conformation and the kind of personality and disposition you can usually only hope for.  Pocos Classy  Rose is a full sister to Pocos Denim Genes.  Quiznos Bob is by Patriot John (a son of Freckles Playboy out of a daughter of Doc's Hickory) and out of Lotta Majesty, an own daughter of Peponita.
Bob Got My Mama
Once again, Quiznos Bob surprised us.  This time, he bred a mare that was almost immediately sold to Virgil Soell - without anyone's knowledge of his actions.  However, the resulting foal is a really nice sorrel stallion.  His dam is a daughter of Pocos Denim Genes and out of Scootin Lolita - consistently our best producer for years.
Elegant Star Tule
We knew we loved Poco Elegant Genes' babies.  Starred N Freckled was a new commodity.  If this bay filly (name pending) is anything to go by, he also is quite the producer.
Dominions Shooter
Years ago, we bought Pocos Denim Genes to breed to Old Dominion's daughters.  However, we ended up selling Dominion's babies as quickly as they hit the ground.  When we had to put him down, we looked around and had none of his daughters.  This is the first of Dominion's daughters that we were able to purchase and this gray stud colt is the very first product of this cross.  Even though the wait was long, the result was worth it!
